Utilizing the Nordson Business System**(NBS Next)** and cellular manufacturing principles, this role drives efficiency, flow, and capacity to exceed customer expectations. This role drives engagement in the organization’s safety vision—**Journey to Zero**, the Production Manager quickly addresses issues, implements countermeasures, and fosters a high-performance, customer-focused team culture.**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Oversees daily operations of the production team, facility teams and planner, promoting a strong safety culture through the *Journey to Zero* program.* Manages labor and resources to meet daily production goals and quality standards while controlling costs.* Demonstrates strong talent management ability, hires, coaches, and develops team members to build engagement and high-performing teams.* Promotes continuous improvement culture by holding regular team meetings to address challenges and implement solutions.* Plans and implements improvement projects to boost customer satisfaction, manufacturing efficiency, and profitability.* Supports financial goals by working with direct reports and the Operations Director on budgeting, capital planning, cost analysis opportunities, and manufacturing productivity for assigned product lines.* Enhances customer satisfaction through strong collaboration with support functions and customer service.* Able to quickly identify and correct flow issues within responsible manufacturing site.
