Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. in Connell, WA, is seeking a seasoned Operations Supervisor to oversee product movement, customer service, and safety. You will manage budgets, guide staff, and ensure quality control for perishables, reporting on inspections and KPI performance.

The role requires at least 5 years of supervisory experience, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with WMS and RF technology; a High School Diploma or GED is required. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product handling and customer service operations ensuring procedures and KPIs are met.
• Develop annual facility budgets and monitor progress towards departmental goals.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and occupational safety laws and guidelines.
• Manage staff including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, appraising performance, and resolving issues.
• Maintain operational procedures for shipment verification, inventory control, and quality standards for perishables.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations including safety training and reporting injuries.
• Coordinate activities between warehouse, distribution, sales record control, and purchasing departments to ensure merchandise availability and security.

What You'll Do

You will manage facility budgets, monitor operational procedures, and maintain quality control standards while supervising and developing team members. Regular inspections and reporting will be conducted to ensure safety, security, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.

What Experience And Education You Need

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) technology.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• High School Diploma or GED

• Experience working in a Union environment
• Willingness to mentor and support development of subordinate employees.
• Associate's Degree preferred

Physical Requirements

• Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending.
• Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment.
• Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others verbally and/or in writing.
• May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.
• May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing.
• May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.

The Company’s good‑faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting for this position is $80,168 - $94,500 annually. Rate may vary based on work location.”
