IHOP 1413 Plano is seeking a full-time Manager on Duty to lead our dining room and kitchen team. You will supervise service, coordinate shift schedules, and train staff to deliver fast, friendly guest experiences.

You will monitor quality and equipment, review cash receipts and sales reports, and address guest concerns to keep daily operations running smoothly and safely. This role is ideal for an energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is committed to promoting

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Strong people skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of a restaurant manager on duty.
• Relevant experience or training preferred but not required.

YOUR DAY

Our Manager on Duty oversees our food service team to make sure every meal is perfect and every customer leaves happy. You set your team up for success by efficiently assigning tasks, creating effective schedules, and training employees on the best practices.

You also maintain quality control on the back end, ensuring the equipment works, portion sizes are good, and food quality is on point. Attentively, you check cash receipts and sales reports. If a customer has any problems, you do what you can to address the issue and make things right.
