Descrição da oferta de emprego

Build a career with purpose as the Manager of Trauma ICU at a Level II trauma center in Northern California, where meaningful leadership, clinical growth, supportive teamwork, and an active four-season lifestyle come together.

The Manager of Trauma ICU will join a regional referral center that provides complex care to patients across Northern California. This healthcare organization values strong clinical judgment, visible leadership, and practical improvements that help teams work safely and efficiently. For an experienced nurse leader seeking healthcare management jobs with real influence, this opportunity offers the resources of a medical center and the connection of a community-focused hospital.

In the TICU, the Manager of Neurotrauma ICU will lead care for high-acuity trauma, neurological, and orthopedic patients. The Level II trauma program brings together critical care nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, rehabilitation specialists, and case managers. This OrthoNeuro and critical care environment offers broad clinical exposure with the opportunity to strengthen unit culture, staff readiness, patient safety, and care coordination.

The Manager TICU will guide daily operations, staffing, clinical standards, quality improvement, regulatory readiness, education, and team development. In partnership with hospital leadership and the interdisciplinary care team, this leader will improve workflows and support sound decision-making at the bedside. The role is ideal for an approachable manager who can set clear expectations, mentor staff, and lead calmly in a fast-moving ICU.

As a meaningful next step, the Manager of Trauma ICU can develop emerging leaders, support specialty certification, and expand experience in trauma operations, workforce planning, budgeting, and performance improvement. Opportunities to mentor charge nurses, strengthen preceptor programs, and participate in strategic initiatives can also prepare this leader for future service-line or executive growth.

The Manager of Neurotrauma ICU will enjoy life near Redding in Northern California, a four-season region known for its outdoorsy character and lower cost of living than many larger California markets. Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, Lassen Volcanic National Park, nearby lakes, and Sacramento River trails make hiking, boating, cycling, and fishing easy to enjoy. Shorter commutes and community events such as the annual Redding Rodeo add to the region’s practical and welcoming lifestyle.

The Manager of Trauma ICU will receive competitive compensation and access to a comprehensive benefits package based on eligibility and the hospital’s current offerings. Connect with a Clinical Management Consultants recruiter to explore the full rewards, leadership support, and career potential behind this Northern California trauma ICU opportunity.
