Job summary

SiTime is seeking a Manager of Sustaining Test Engineering to lead the sustaining group in Ipoh, providing technical guidance and direction to the team for mass production readiness. You will drive test program buy-off, qualification, and continuous improvement across HW, ATE systems, and probing.

Responsibilities include planning qualifications, analyzing buy-off data, and enabling rapid debugging of product/test issues. Travel to OSATs and company sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
• Experience in managing technical teams.
• Experience with Prober and ATE Handler.
• Experience with Final Test Testing and/or Wafer Sort/Circuit Probing.
• Experience on-Line Sustaining for Final Test or Circuit Probe/Wafer Sort.
• Familiar/Knowledgeable with C++ or Python.
• Set-up experience and verification on Testing Hardware e.g. Probe Card, Load Board, Circuit Interface board.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear directions to the Sustaining team.
• Provide guidance on solutions and dispositions to Test Engineering abnormalities in a Manufacturing/Production environment.
• Plan and execute qualification and buy-off for new and mature products, HW, ATE System, Test Programs and related coverage.
• Provide Test Data Analysis and documented reports on Buy-off and Qualification data.
• Provide remote and online debug for Product, Test Program, System and HW issues.
• Provide technical guidance to Sustaining test engineers, such as debugging Test programs and hardware.
• Interface with Internal Cross-Functional Team and OSAT personnel.
• Travel locally or internationally to OSAT and other company offices as needed.

Job Summary

• As a Manager of Sustaining Test Engineering, you are expected to manage the Sustaining group in Ipoh, providing technical guidance and providing directions to the team.
• You will provide priorities and guide the project commitments of the team .
• You will drive the HW, Product and System Qualification Buy-off to be deployed for Mass Production.
• Will take project initiatives on Test improvements, Test Program releases and test program revision updates.
• Make recommendations for process improvements in production.
• Making sure that OSAT Testing for Final Test and Circuit/Wafer Probing does not have significant issues that will result in lines-down.
• You will drive Continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clear directions to the Sustaining team

• Plan and execute qualification and buy-off for but not limited to both new and mature products, HW, ATE System, Test Programs and other Testing related coverage that needs qualification and buy-off.
• Provide Test Data Analysis and documented reports on Buy-off and Qualification data.
• Provide remote and online debug for Product, Test Program, System and HW issues.
• Provide technical guidance to Sustaining test engineers, such as debugging Test programs, debugging Test Hardware, FA analysis.
• Recommend priority changes and plan resource management.
• Interface with Internal Cross-Functional Team and OSAT personnel.
• Travel locally or internationally to OSAT and other company offices as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or above in Engineering, Computer, Electrical, Industrial or any related field.
• Experience in managing technical teams.
• Experience with Prober and ATE Handler
• Experience with Final Test Testing and/or Wafer Sort/Circuit Probing.
• Experience on-Line Sustaining for Final Test or Circuit Probe/Wafer Sort.
• Experience with ETS-88, ETS-364 or any commercial Testers (LTX, Advantest, uFlex, iFlex etc.).
• Familiar/Knowledgeable with C++ or Python.
• Set-up experience and verification on Testing Hardware e.g. Probe Card, Load Board, Circuit Interface board.
