Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Manager of Chaplaincy Services to oversee the Pastoral Care Department at the Mansfield campus, delivering high-quality spiritual care to patients, families, and staff.

The role requires 4 ACPE-accredited CPE units, 2–3 years hospital chaplaincy, and ordination or endorsement for hospital chaplaincy. Certification eligibility within two years is also required. Active participation in a faith community is essential.

Qualifications

• 4 ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education units.
• 2–3 years chaplaincy experience in a hospital setting.
• Certification or eligibility for certification within two years by a nationally recognized professional organization (APC, NACC, N.J. Chaplains, Spiritual Care Association).
• Ordination in a recognized tradition and/or endorsement for hospital chaplaincy.
• Active participation in a faith community.

The Manager Chaplaincy Services manage the services of the Pastoral Care Department at an assigned campus ensuring the highest quality spiritual care to the patients, familiesandstaff of the hospital.

Your Job Requirements:

• 4 units of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education
• 2-3 years chaplaincy experience ina hospitalsetting
• Certification or eligibility for certification within two years of hire by a nationally recognized professional organization, such as Association of Professional Chaplains, National Association of Catholic Chaplains, National Association of Jewish Chaplains, Spiritual Care Association
• Ordination in a recognized tradition and/or endorsement for hospital chaplaincy
• Active participation in a faith community
