Aerotek in Sparta, WI seeks a Manager of Manufacturing Injection Molding to lead a 24/5 operation across 11 presses. This hands-on leadership role blends molding expertise with operations management to drive quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

You will manage a 20-person team, coach to meet production goals, apply Lean, SPC, and data analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional groups in a fast-paced, on-site setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in injection molding; troubleshoot, mold setup, thermoplastics, scientific molding.
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership; lead, develop, and motivate production teams.

Job Description

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of injection molding experience, including expertise in process troubleshooting, mold setup, thermoplastics, and scientific molding.
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with a proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate production teams.
• Experience with automation, robotics, and auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, and conveyors.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, SPC, and continuous improvement skills in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master Molder certification.
• Experience with ERP and/or MES systems.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Prior leadership experience managing an injection molding department or similar production operation.

Work Environment

The role is based in the molding department on first shift within a 24-hour, five-day-per-week operation. You will work in a hands-on manufacturing environment around injection molding presses ranging from 28 to 1500 tons, along with automation, robots, and auxiliary equipment such as dryers, chillers, and conveyors. The setting is production-focused, fast-paced, and safety-conscious, with an emphasis on teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
