Description

As the Manager of M&A, you will play a critical role in the execution of our high growth roll up of MSPs. This role is central to our expansion strategy and requires a professional with a strong background in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development. You will actively participate in all aspects of the M&A process, including financial modeling and analysis, preparation of presentations for management, and engagement with external advisors and target companies. You will lead financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution across a steady pipeline of acquisitions (6 closed since inception in November 2024 with 6 others currently under LOI), collaborating directly with senior leadership and portfolio company management. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role suited for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Development and ownership of detailed financial models, valuations, and investment analyses.
  • Comprehensive due diligence on potential acquisitions, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments.
  • Presentations (written and verbal) of findings and recommendations to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Coordination of due diligence workstreams across internal teams and external advisors (legal, accounting, HR, technology, etc.)
  • Manage structured documentation and process tracking across multiple active transactions
  • Scalable KPI and analytics reporting frameworks to support portfolio company performance tracking
  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform evaluation of target companies
  • Support the integration of newly acquired companies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives during the transition process
  • Leverage and enhance business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx) to improve financial and operational insights
  • Create and maintain structured diligence reports, trackers, and supporting documentation for active deals
  • Manage multiple deal processes simultaneously in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in M&A and managed services

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 3-5 years of experience in private equity, accounting / financial due diligence, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar role.
  • Expert in conducting financial statement analysis and interpreting complex financial and operational data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and be a team player in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred
