Responsibilities

Manager of Plant Operations will report to Director of Facilities Management. Will have two hospital responsibility over Plant Operations. Seeking someone with strong experience in the following:

• Plant equipment and facilities systems to ensure life safety, continuous operations, longevity, and attractive appearance.
• Manage maintenance service and repair in power plant operations and general maintenance.
• Establishes and updates mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) standards for the hospitals.
• Manage retrofit and project modifications.
• Lead in energy management strategies.
• May be involved in projects and operations of other off-site facilities.
• Assist the department director with special projects as assigned.
• Responsible for Life Safety Management.
• May create mechanical sketches to show mechanical upgrades, modifications or new installations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in hospital Plant Operations in hospital setting, with BS degree in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred.
• Strong experience with energy reducing measures.
