About the Role

The Manager of Academic Affiliations & Partnerships leads and manages all residency, fellowship, and internship programs across the organization. This role provides strategic oversight of academic initiatives and clinical training pathways, ensuring cohesive program development and delivery. The Director also ensures that all programs maintain accreditation, uphold quality standards, and align with the organization’s overall goals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development, coordination, and quality of all Residency, Fellowship, and Internship programs.
  • Lead academic planning, curriculum development, evaluation processes, and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure all programs are aligned with clinical standards and organizational goals.
  • Build, strengthen, and oversee partnerships with universities, medical schools, allied health institutions, and research organizations.
  • Negotiate, review, and manage academic affiliation agreements.
  • Serve as the organizational representative for academic collaborations and educational outreach.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for students completing clinical rotations, internships, observation hours, or academic requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding, documentation, compliance, and scheduling.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to learners throughout their program.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, evaluations, and compliance records.
  • Work closely with Executives, HR, legal, and clinical leadership.
  • Manage rotation schedules, preceptor assignments, and program processes.
  • Develop and maintain program manuals, policies, and orientation resources.
  • Track and analyze program metrics to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Track participation data, outcomes, and satisfaction metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (Education, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Research Administration, or related field).
  • 4–7+ years of experience in academic program management, and/or clinical education.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
