Qualifications

About the Role:

The manager, New Products Supply Chain is a critical leadership role that leads the team that oversees supply chain operations for the launch of new products. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence by collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring timely, cost-effective supply of innovative products to market.The Manager, New Products Supply Chain, will lead end-to-end supply chain activities for new product introduction (NPI) initiatives, driving innovation, speed-to-market, and operational excellence within a highly regulated industry. This manager will oversee sourcing, procurement, and supplier management activities for new product components and assemblies.

Responsibilities include building cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless product launches and robust supply chain readiness. The ideal candidate brings strong supply chain knowledge, strategic sourcing expertise, supplier negotiations experience, and a demonstrated background in launching products within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline preferred)
• Proven experience (10+ years) in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within manufacturing (medical device, pharma, or regulated industry preferred)
• Experience supporting product launches or new product introduction programs strongly desired
• Strong supplier negotiation, supplier development, and contract management skills
• Exceptional project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Effective communicator—able to influence and build relationships at all levels, including executive and supplier partners
• High proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and supply chain systems/tools
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (MBA, master’s in supply chain/Operations, or equivalent)
• APICS/ISM or similar supply chain certification
• Experience with global sourcing and supplier management
• Working knowledge of regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO, etc.) in medical device or pharma industries
