Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of new store openings, remodels, and special projects to align with company objectives, including achieving Triple Double targets.
  • Develop and enhance processes, tools, and team capabilities for new store launches and remodels, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Review floor sets and effectively communicate any concerns to relevant partners in WowTown.
  • Lead the recruitment efforts for future talent within the NSM team and design a comprehensive training program for their development.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with cross-functional partners in WowTown to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Offer support and provide necessary development tools to the New Store Team for their success.
  • Conduct thorough physical and virtual walkthroughs to ensure compliance with 5B standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate potential challenges that may impede new store or remodel projects, proactively seeking solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for NSMs during projects, addressing any issues or escalations promptly and effectively.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to provide hands‑on support and guidance, fostering the growth and capability of the team for future endeavors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
  • 6-8 years of retail experience with 2-4 years in a leadership position, preferably in a high growth retailer
  • 4-6 years of experience merchandising
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the retail industry, with a track record of successfully leading new store openings and remodels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to identify challenges and develop strategic solutions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project locations and work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiarity with retail standards and best practices is highly desirable.
