Responsibilities

• Reviews inspection plans and oversees corrective action processes and lean improvement initiatives.
• Oversees First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9103 and disposition of non-conforming hardware.
• Ensures training and certifications for the team and maintains part traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

This position is in Beavercreek, OH.Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses program performance & risk and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.Roles and Responsibilities:Provides daily supervision and direction to Quality Inspection and NDI staff. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to team members utilizing management guidelines and general policies that fully engage our Quality Management System.Interfaces with program managers, operations, engineering, customer, DCMA, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure daily requirements are met.Review and approve inspection plans, facility Preventative Corrective Action Boards, various lean improvement programs, and participates in data review and metrics.Maintains the level of quality and part traceability throughout the product life cycle.Supports training and certifications for the team.Conducts formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the product development/manufacturing life cycle. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
