Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Training Manager to interview, onboard and train new team members at our Seattle resort. You will partner with department leaders, conduct weekly trainings, and act as a SME to support marketing initiatives and guest services.

The role requires Wyndham Destinations marketing experience, excellent communication, and a proven ability to coach and motivate staff while maintaining top customer service and a strong culture.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree in related field preferred.
• Wyndham Destinations marketing experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
• Problem solving ability and customer service excellence.
• Ability to coach, counsel and motivate direct reports.
• Must have Timeshare/Vacation Ownership experience.

Job Description

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for interviewing, onboarding & training new team members.
• Conducts ongoingtrainings.
• Partner with department leaders to coach and support new hires.
• Conduct weekly training for reps that are underperforming.
• Welcome guests warmly to the resort and provide them with a brief overview of the resort, resort activities and services, and things to do in the area.
• Supportnew technologyrollouts and sales initiatives through becoming a SME (Subject Matter Expert).
• Responsible for booking guests to attend an owner update both by phone and face to face.
• Responsible formaintainingan excellent culture and environment.
• Maintain above budget penetration rate of assigned guests and ensure that the overall penetration of the site is above the budget.
• Maintain department standards of production and work as a team player.
• Prepareadditionalreportsdeemednecessary by management.
• Ensure any pertinent information related to Marketing is properly andtimelydisseminated.
• Coordinate with salesregardingnew/changes in marketing programs (booking/gifting policies).

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service (i.must be able to communicate in a positive and effective manner when dealing with upset owners).

• Must have Timeshare/ Vacation Ownership Experience.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is $80,169 per year, plus incentive earnings reasonably ranging from $27,500 to $77,500 annually, depending upon individual performance and site targets. Performance above or below reasonable expectations could result in incentive earnings outside of this range. Please note: Components of incentive compensation are paid both weekly and monthly for this role.
