Job summary

Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel is seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee advertising, promotions, events and entertainment for the Oak Grove property in Kentucky. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and capable of leading a marketing team across multiple channels.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Marketing and 5–7 years in hospitality, with the ability to obtain Kentucky gaming/racing licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Kentucky gaming/racing license.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Kentucky racing and gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the development and implementation of promotions and events, including drawings, giveaways, and parties.
• Coordinates the development and execution of all advertising across radio, TV, digital, social, and OOH.
• Manages relationships with external vendors to oversee design, production and timely delivery of materials.
• Assists in developing annual marketing plans that identify revenue potential and marketing programs.
• Implements plans to achieve revenue and profit and adjusts when needed.
• Monitors marketing expenses, analyzes cost and revenue reports, and recommends actions.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinates the development and implementation of promotions and events including drawings, giveaways, parties, special events, etc.; assesses the effectiveness of all promotions and events.
• Coordinates the development and execution of all advertising including radio, television, digital, social, and OOH.
• Manages the process and works directly with external vendors, including ad agencies and direct mail companies, to oversee design, production and timely delivery of materials.
• Assists in the development of annual business plans for Marketing that identify revenue potential and describes marketing programs and services that will attain acceptable levels of revenue.
• Implements the business plan in order to achieve planned revenue and profit; anticipates and reacts to changes in planning assumptions and alters plans as necessary.
• Determines financial effectiveness of programs and manages marketing expenses to budget. Analyzes cost and revenue reports for areas of responsibility and recommends actions to be taken.
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and endorses business objectives, ethics and values of the company and property.
• Other duties as assigned.
