The Role
Our site in Chaska is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to join our operations team. The Manufacturing Manager will work closely with front-line supervisors to help ensure our employees are working in a safe, quality, and productive manner supporting our Drum Line, Purebond, and InVue product lines. This role will have 6 direct reports including 2 salaried supervisors and ~60 indirect operations roles. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible and accountable for achieving departmental production requirements by focusing on service, quality, and agility through supervision of staff and other duties as assigned. The Manufacturing Manager plays a key role in translating business and operations strategy into executable engineering solutions while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
The hired individual will be a part of a multi-faceted team that supplies critical solutions to the ultra-high purity semiconductor market. Our technology enables the latest chip technology and its applications, including IoT, AI, machine learning, and 5G. Demand for our products is rising rapidly and we are looking for someone who can help us ensure that our staff is being developed and trained in the best way possible.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure safety of employees and visitors within the company, monitor work area and employees’ performance for adherence to safety procedures, work restrictions, cleanliness and potential hazards.
- Ensure quality parts are produced for customers, investigate and evaluate quality defects as assigned and determine appropriate actions to be taken, recommend and implement solutions to improve quality of products.
- Provide recognition to employees, ensure employee training is provided for effective performance, address issues with employee with supportive documentation, adhere to company policies, procedures, and applicable budget requirements, conduct timely employee performance reviews, coordinate effective delegation of work assignments and training.
- Implement and monitor continuous quality improvement activities including waste and cost reduction, equipment and tool efficiencies and human resource planning.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet the needs of customers by increasing manufacturing flexibility and reducing lead times.
- Assist manufacturing in solving technical problems and debugging of products or processes.
- Work with manufacturing managers to specify equipment and fixture needs and coordinate its design, purchase or construction, and implementation with emphasis on design of fixtures, develop assembly techniques and procedures, develop manufacturing cost reduction plans.
- Follow standard engineering and technology practices and procedures, demonstrate a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the overall organization, participate in Entegris’ continuous quality improvement process and dedication to customer satisfaction.
What We Seek
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or related field or equivalent experience, with 7+ years of demonstrated experience leading manufacturing teams, ideally across multiple departments.
- Drive and initiative to build and influence a learning culture in a continuously evolving environment.
- Budget planning experience, organizational and planning skills, communication skills, and ability to adapt to workforce, work environment and customer needs.
- Strong desire for continuous improvement and creativity to bring different ideas for improvement to the table.
- Astute attention to detail; ability to assess safety and quality needs of the site and translate those into operational strategies.
- Ability to understand and develop data/metrics to validate training performance.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following site safety/quality standards.
- Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes, build alignment, and collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 40 lbs. as necessary.
- Work in a manufacturing environment, including time on the production floor.
- Move through industrial spaces, stand for periods of time, and comply with safety and PPE requirements.

- Compensation: $114,000.00-$142,500.00 a year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
