The role translates approved priorities into work schedules, resources, performance expectations, and escalation paths and owns the quality, timeliness, safety, and service of assigned outcomes. It makes day-to-day warehouse, inventory, distribution, provider, cold-chain, or trade-execution decisions within established policy and delegated risk authority. It aligns relevant stakeholders and external providers around commitments, issue resolution, and accountable handoffs and escalates decisions beyond the role’s defined authority. The role develops people and sustains GDP and applicable GMP, chain-of-custody, data-integrity, dangerous-goods, security, trade, documentation, and inspection-readiness discipline.

The role’s scope may span a country, multiple markets, a region, or global operations, depending on the position and evolving business needs.

Here’s What You’ll Do

  • Support integration and real‑time connectivity with 3PLs and carriers to improve operational visibility and exception management.
  • Develop and monitor logistics KPIs, dashboards, and digital scorecards to track performance, identify operational risks, and enable continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external partners to deliver operational initiatives on time, with a focus on reliability, scalability, automation, and process simplification.
  • Own and maintain compliance and process documentation, including SOPs, with internal teams and 3PL partners.
  • Run the logistics hub’s day‑to‑day operations for upstream warehousing and transportation by air, road, and sea, and ensure efficient material flow across inbound, warehousing, intercompany, and outbound flows.
  • Ensure GDP‑compliant end‑to‑end shipping processes are effectively executed, including goods handling, shipping validation, and customs clearance, in compliance with Health Authority, GDP, GMP, cold‑chain, trade, and security requirements.
  • Own and optimize cost‑to‑serve while ensuring service reliability, operational performance, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Trade Compliance, Commercial Supply Chain, Planning, local supply chain teams, Quality, Digital, and Manufacturing to align business and compliance needs.
Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or an approved combination of education, logistics or trade training, and experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, warehousing, distribution, cold chain, trade and customs, provider management, or related physical‑flow work, including demonstrated leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics execution, inventory control, provider performance, operating risk, and regulated physical‑flow practices.
  • Ability to ensure GDP and applicable GMP, chain‑of‑custody, data‑integrity, dangerous‑goods, security, trade, and inspection‑readiness requirements.
  • Ability to lead people, manage workflow and resources, make bounded risk decisions, coach performance, and hold delivery commitments accountable.
  • Ability to perform the position’s essential material‑handling tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation or workplace adjustment consistent with applicable law, using approved aids or team methods as needed.
  • Required training must be completed, competence demonstrated, and any applicable certification, license, or authorization held or obtained before operating assigned material‑handling equipment; ongoing requirements must be maintained under applicable local requirements.
