Campbell's is seeking a seasoned Logistics & Planning Manager in Hanover to oversee inventory, warehouse systems, and daily data reporting. You will lead warehouse operations, drive safety, and partner with internal and external teams to optimize processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

With 5+ years in logistics and planning, plus 3+ years in manufacturing and people management, you will shape long-term strategies for efficient, compliant operations at Campbell's.

Responsibilities

  • Directs, trains, and manages warehouse staff and shifts.
  • Oversees inventory management, receiving, shipping and data reporting.
  • Promotes safety and compliance with FDA, AIB, OSHA, and MSDS standards.
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Maintains system accuracy for bar-coding and product locator tools.

How you will make history here...

The Logistics & Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, warehouse system maintenance, data reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, year-to-date), and the supervision of warehouse operations. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration with various departments to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and compliance with specifications, schedules, and procedures.

What you will do...
  • Leadership and Management: Directs, trains, and manages the work activities of Warehouse employees. Provides performance feedback, conducts periodic reviews, and implements performance improvement plans. Collaborates with site leaders in recruitment, hiring, promotion, transfer, pay, counseling, and discipline of warehouse employees. Conducts regular work team meetings for all shifts. Provides performance feedback and addresses work-related problems. Attends management meetings.
  • Strategic Planning: Develops and promotes training activities related to product quality and reliability. Ensures employees adhere to manufacturing, equipment, and safety procedures to consistently produce high-quality results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Sets goals, communicates performance standards, and mentors staff to optimize performance and personal growth. Builds.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with external and internal customers, suppliers, and interdisciplinary teams. Provides technical assistance and advancements in diversification, competitive edge, and process improvement. Operational Optimization: Identifies and optimizes processes for receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, and shipping of products.
  • Customer and Shipment Management: Oversees direct customer and warehouse shipments. Coordinates outside warehouse shipments to ensure and accurate.
  • Investigates and resolves customer shortage claims and freight claims in collaboration with the Director of Logistics. Inventory Control.
  • System Maintenance: Maintains the efficacy of the bar-coding system through training, audits, and programming. Manages the product locator system and corrects discrepancies. Ensures optimum utilization appropriate.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promotes safety and ensures operations FDA regulations, AIB standards, OSHA, and MSDS standards. Maintains warehouse security.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Completes daily shift reports and maintains records of transactions and labor hours. Verifies accuracy of inbound/outbound paperwork.
  • Performance Tracking: Documents personnel performance, investigates unfavorable variances, and implements improvements to enhance performance.
  • Quality Assurance Coordination: Coordinates procedures regarding receipt of raw ingredients and packaging supplies. Ensures products are appropriately staged.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Resolves technical issues and escalates unsolved problems to the Logistics Manager.
  • Operational Continuity: Schedules daily shift hand-off meetings to ensure continuity between shifts.
  • Relationship Management: Maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Strategic Planning: Develops and implements long-term strategies to optimize warehouse operations and achieve organizational goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration and coordination of logistics activities.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and drives initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Managing Complex Logistics Operations: Oversees intricate logistics processes, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of inventory and shipments.
  • Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Standards: Maintains adherence to industry regulations and standards to ensure safe and compliant operations.
  • Navigating Challenges: Manages variations in demand to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer needs.
  • Addressing Supply Chain Disruptions: Responds to and mitigates disruptions in the supply chain to minimize impact on operations.
  • Adapting to Evolving Industry Standards: Stays updated with industry changes and adapts practices to remain competitive and compliant.
  • Fostering a Culture of Excellence and Innovation: Promotes a work environment that encourages high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Compensation and Benefits

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $98,300-$135,200. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
