Job summary

George’s is seeking a Landscape Manager to lead our grounds crew and oversee all landscaping operations. You will supervise daily tasks, coordinate irrigation, plant health care, and land management while maintaining safety and budget adherence.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a customer-service mindset. A Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors year-round.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, equipment operation).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of grounds crew members in daily landscaping tasks.
• Develop and manage mowing, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, mulching schedules.
• Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems for optimal function.
• Monitor plant health and apply pest/disease control as needed.
• Serve as main contact for internal stakeholders on grounds needs.
• Source and procure landscaping materials within budget.
• Maintain landscaping equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed.
• Assist with long-term landscape planning and improvement projects.
• Provide training and performance feedback to crew.

Summary:

The Landscape Manager will lead our landscape operations and crew. Must have strong leadership skills, proven experience in crew supervision, and a solid background in irrigation systems, plant health care, and land management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of grounds crew members in daily landscaping and maintenance tasks
• Develop and manage a routine schedule for mowing, trimming, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, mulching, and seasonal clean-up
• Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems to ensure optimal functionality
• Monitor plant, turf, and tree health; apply or coordinate pest and disease control treatments as needed
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding grounds-related needs or concerns
• Source and procure landscaping materials (mulch, plants, tools, etc.) within budget
• Maintain and manage landscaping equipment, ensuring all tools are safe, serviced, and accounted for
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with long-term landscape planning and improvement projects

Education and/or experience:
