Adventist Health is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Director in Willits, CA. Adventist Health Howard Memorial is located in Willits, CA, and has been providing high‑quality care since 1928. The 74,000‑square‑foot facility includes four surgery suites, an on‑site farm‑to‑fork restaurant, and 25 private rooms. The hospital offers primary and specialty care services and serves the surrounding community. The position offers a small‑town atmosphere with access to outdoor recreation.
Maintains responsibility for the overall operation of the clinical laboratory in consultation with and under the direction of Medical Directors (Pathologists) and the Regional Clinical Laboratory Directors. Develops, monitors, and provides leadership for the financial, contracting, regulatory, accreditation and client services policies and procedures for the clinical/anatomic laboratories. Selects appropriate instrumentation or test methodologies, develops and maintains an appropriate Quality Assurance (QA) program, monitors testing and QA processes, including recording and reporting of results. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned personnel using professional judgment and independent discretion.
