Job summary

Clinisys in the United States seeks a Manager, Integrations to lead a team delivering scalable interfaces connecting complex systems across client environments. You will supervise standards, mentor staff, and ensure on-time, high-quality integration deployments with strong customer satisfaction.

Job description

Role Summary:

As the Manager, Integrations, you will play a critical leadership role in driving successful customer outcomes by delivering scalable, high-quality integration solutions that connect complex systems and technologies. You will lead a team of integration experts responsible for implementing software interfaces within client environments, ensuring seamless deployments, exceptional customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

You will serve as the primary escalation point for integration issues, establish performance metrics, oversee team and consultant performance, and champion best practices that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. Additionally, you will foster continuous learning and development to ensure the team remains at the forefront of integration technologies and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and ensure adherence to application interfacing standards and processes, including interface specification development, coordination with third-party vendors, design and development of integration solutions, testing, deployment, and validation.
  • Implement structured interface management processes, plans and tools to achieve seamless integration across the project lifecycle.
  • Manage a team of skilled experts to implement software solutions with excellence, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee performance management of staff, including recruitment, training, mentoring, evaluations, and professional development.
  • Ensure interface work adheres to established standards, implementation methodologies, quality controls, documentation expectations, and client-specific project requirements.
  • Serve as the escalation and resolution point for interface-related risks, blockers, defects, vendor issues, customer concerns, and active implementation challenges.
  • Partner with project teams to ensure interface deliverables are completed on time, within scope, aligned to project budgets, and positioned to support revenue recognition and customer commitments.
  • Establish individual and team metrics to drive productivity and effectiveness in interfacing projects.
  • Encourage the team to advocate for clients and foster innovative ideas to enhance the efficiency of interfacing approaches.
  • Support continuous education to stay updated on deployment options and best practices in application interfacing, ensuring successful client deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate cross-training and maintain a pool of skilled resources aligned with market needs.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of application interfacing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Stay current with key industry products and technologies, including Clinisys solutions, interface engines such as Mirth, Rhapsody, and Corepoint, and other relevant software platforms.
  • Leverage your expertise in these products to provide guidance and support to the team during interfacing projects.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills Needed to be Successful:
  • Proficiency in application interface technologies and standards, including HL7, XSLT, RESTful APIs, SOAP, Webhooks, JSON, XML, and other relevant protocols.
  • Strong understanding of application integration concepts and patterns.
  • Experience with integration platforms and tools, such as Mirth, Rhapsody, Corepoint, Point-to-Point Interfaces, etc.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages and frameworks like JavaScript, Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, data migration, and IT/network services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of environmental and clinical laboratory workflows is advantageous.
  • Ability to influence positive outcomes and build strong relationships by leading technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated through identifying improvement opportunities and creating effective action plans.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload for yourself and the team, working independently and autonomously.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
AI Automation & Enablement:
  • Practical experience leveraging AI and automation to improve service delivery efficiency, including reducing manual effort and accelerating migration timelines.
  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions (e.g., workflow automation, intelligent data mapping, predictive capacity planning).
  • Experience embedding AI into delivery processes to improve consistency, quality, and cost-to-serve.
  • Strong understanding of how to operationalize AI at scale (governance, adoption, and measurable ROI).
Required Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in software development, application interfacing, or integration roles.
  • Strong background in APIs, web services and enterprise data structures.
  • Experience with direct client engagement and external facing projects.
  • Skilled in managing or mentoring technical team members, consultants, interface analysts, or implementation resources.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with key client project stakeholders at the Manager level or above.
Preferred Experience and Education:
  • HL7 Certification
  • Previous experience in environmental or public health laboratories
  • Experience in professional services, consulting delivery, software implementation, or customer-facing technical leadership
  • Experience managing project financials, resource forecasting, delivery metrics, or services profitability
  • Practical experience applying automation or AI-enabled methods to improve delivery efficiency, consistency, quality, or scalability
  • Previous experience working with Clinisys products
Supervisory Responsibilities:

7-10 direct reports

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $115,000 to $145,000 for annual base salary. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.

Physical Requirements:
  • Work is performed remotely or in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds with assistance as part of office routine
  • 25%-50% travel may be required
  • Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; use of fingers; walking/standing 2-6 hours
  • Exposure to hazardous materials or various weather conditions
  • Travel to client sites that can pose risk associated with healthcare organization
  • May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements
