Eversource Energy is seeking an experienced Planning & Scheduling leader for Electric Operations in the Boston area. You will oversee the centralized master schedule, coordinate work planning and resource forecasting, and ensure data integrity across Substation, Transmission and Distribution projects.

This position is responsible for developing an integrated centralized schedule and resource plan that promotes integrated decisions, improves forecasting ability and optimizes resource utilization throughout the Electric Operations service territory.
This position is also responsible for the organization and management of the Electric Operations field workload through accurate forecasting, staffing calculations, and scheduling and management reports.
This position ensures that work plans and schedules facilitate timely and cost-effective completion of all capital workload including new business, compliance and mandated work, system reliability, and maintenance and construction.
This position establishes guidelines for integrating schedules for engineering/design, planning and construction activities relating to the Project Management Department and coordinates the "roll up" of work plans/schedules for all Electric Operations' Maintenance & Construction activities.
Works with Supply Chain Management to ensure that sufficient contractor resources are available to meet Electric Operations' needs.
Assists with the development of overall contractor strategy within Electric Operations and analyzes contractor resource levels.
Requires extensive knowledge of transmission and distribution issues and activities within the electric utility industry
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience.
MS in Engineering or MBA preferred
Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience is required.
Experience in managing or supervising groups engaged in transmission/distribution or related activities is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in developing a union workforce and process re-engineering is also preferred.
