- Manage the design, implementation, and improvement of industrialized production systems supporting prefabrication and product delivery efforts
- Apply industrial engineering principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve predictability across manufacturing, logistics, and assembly operations
- Lead industrial engineers and ensure consistent application of standards and methods
- Manage development and deployment of production systems, standard work, and flow-based manufacturing approaches
- Oversee optimization of factory layouts, workcells, and material handling to improve throughput and quality
- Apply Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods to reduce variability, waste, and rework
- Coordinate with product, computational design, and operations teams to align digital and physical production systems
- Review production data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Guide quality control, inspection processes, and compliance efforts within prefab operations
- Coach and develop industrial engineers, ensuring technical rigor and practical application
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field required
- 8–12 years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or production system design required
- 2+ years of experience leading teams or technical initiatives required
- Lean Six Sigma or related certifications preferred
- FE or PE licensure beneficial
