Role Summary

The Manager in Training (MIT) / Management Trainee program is an entry-level vital stepping stone within our organization, with most of our store manager and leaders starting as MITs. The MIT role emphasizes the importance of actively performing job duties to become proficient in all aspects of the business (see the Physical Requirements section). Training provided and you will be cross trained in all aspects of store management and operations. This is an in-person job and only available physically at the specified location. You must be over the age of 21 to be considered for this position.

Principal Responsibilities

• Train to become proficient in all aspects of the business
• Acquire and maintain customers
• Drive store sales
• Manage customer accounts

• Perform in-home delivery and setup
• Handle inventory management

Requirements/Responsibilities

• Must be over the age of 21 to drive a vehicle for work (insurance requirement)

Physical Requirements

• Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly
• Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
• Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
• Prolonged periods of driving and standing
• Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions
