Job summary

Fitness Ventures, LLC (Crunch Fitness) is looking for a Manager in Training (MIT) to join their local leadership team in Houston, Texas. The MIT will focus on building a supportive environment, achieving personal and team sales goals, and inspiring team members. Responsibilities include maintaining club standards and implementing company programs to enhance membership growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, effective time management, and preferably experience in fitness management. A high school diploma and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Fitness management experience preferred.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required.

Job description

The Manager in Training (MIT) is part of the local leadership team with Crunch Fitness. MIT's work is to build a supportive and engaging environment for members and team members alike while learning the skills needed to advance in the leadership structure.

Expectations

• Achieve desired personal sales goals
• Achieve desired team revenue goals through leadership and motivation
• Inspire and develop your team members to consistently deliver an exceptional membership experience
• Be accountable to your team for creating an in-club environment that consistently drives for results at the membership services desk
• Recognize and celebrate individual and team successes
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies that pertain to the club
• Follow up with sales leads and prospects in a timely manner
• Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees
• Implement and support company programs and promotion to help generate new sales leads for optimum new membership growth
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to the members
• Ensure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security
• Support a Culture of Cleanliness by reinforcing to staff that cleanliness is everyone's responsibility, not just the maintenance staff
• Perform above average on all measurable Key Performance Indicators
