Regal Rexnord Corp in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Manager II, Site Controller for a $100M+ plant. You will lead monthly close, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls, partnering with the Plant Manager to drive profitability and working capital improvements.

You will develop KPIs, dashboards in Power BI, and work closely with operations on cost, productivity, and capital projects, ensuring GAAP compliance and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience including cost accounting and controllership.
• Strong operational finance and business partnership skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate financial and operational performance into insights, risks, and actions.
• Lead monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate reporting submissions.
• Oversee monthly forecast, annual operating plan, and business review activities.
• Perform variance analysis and explain drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop KPIs and Power BI dashboards to improve data visibility and drive decisions.
• Partner with operations on make/buy, SIOP, capex, labor planning, and inventory.
• Drive cost-out, productivity, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Lead product costing, standards roll, and inventory valuation.
• Maintain GAAP/SOX compliance and internal control remediation.
• Lead one Finance team member and coach non-financial leaders on financial concepts.
• Support special projects and process improvements.

Position Overview

The Manager II, Site Controller is the finance leader for the Charlotte, NC manufacturing plant, a $100M+ annual revenue operation. This high-impact role leads financial planning, reporting, analysis, controls, and performance management while serving as a strategic business partner to the Plant Manager and plant leadership team.

The Site Controller links financial results to operational execution by turning data into clear insights and actionable recommendations. This position helps drive profitability, productivity, working capital, and continuous improvement while ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting, strong internal controls, and disciplined processes that support timely decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic business partner to the plant leadership team by translating financial and operational performance into clear insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
• Lead monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, corporate reporting submissions, and coordination with central accounting and audit partners.
• Lead the monthly forecast, annual operating plan and ongoing business review activities.
• Lead variance analysis, clearly explaining key drivers, assumptions, risks, opportunities, and required actions.
• Drive plant performance management by analyzing sales, mix, production costs, margin, productivity, and other key operational drivers.
• Partner with operations on make/buy decisions, SIOP, capital investments, labor planning, inventory management, and other performance analyses.
• Develop KPIs, reporting tools, and Power BI dashboards that improve data visibility and drive action-oriented decisions.
• Drive cost-out, productivity, and margin improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Lead product costing, annual standards roll, physical inventory support, and inventory valuation.
• Maintain accounting practices, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with GAAP, SOX, company policy, and applicable compliance requirements; support timely remediation of control gaps.
• Lead one Finance team member by setting priorities, managing performance, and ensuring alignment with key finance and operations partners.
• Train and coach non-financial leaders on financial concepts to improve accountability and decision quality.
• Support special projects, process improvements, and business transformation efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including cost accounting and controllership.
• Strong operational finance and business partnership skills, with the ability to connect plant performance to actions that improve margin, productivity, and working capital.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and key performance drivers.
• Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
• Effective communication, presentation, influencing, and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify financial information for cross-functional and senior audiences.
• High accountability, follow-through, and say/do ratio.
• Results-oriented, organized, and hands‑on, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
• ERP proficiency with SAP, OneStream, or related system.
