Overview

The Product Manager will serve as the principal liaison between the operational supply chain teams (warehouse operations, demand management, procurement, logistics), technology development teams and supply chain analytics team (supply chain engineers, data scientists, and business analysts). This role will own full life cycle Product strategy from concept & development to deployment and execution for supply chain and drive step change improvements in operations.

This leader will lead product and feature developments that drive automated decisions with data science and machine learning to improve performance in operations. This leader is responsible for managing all communications with colleagues, stakeholders, and leadership regarding all elements of their product portfolio. This leader will possess a solid understanding of software development agile practices and an understanding of data science & machine learning practices.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic product direction and prioritize development efforts for long-term roadmap.
  • Lead the evolution of supply chain analytics from an ad-hoc reporting and dashboarding competency to a product focused development team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams comprised of both business roles and technical development during the life cycle of product development.
  • Vet scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents and design specifications, in partnership with UX, product managers, QA and design.
  • Develop metrics to measure success of program features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.
  • Collaboratively translate SC analytics proof of concepts into scalable products through IT partnerships.
  • Supports overall IT relationships, budgeting process, prioritization, and resource allocation in collaboration with IT leads.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Requirements
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment.
  • Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research or Information Systems; MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or similar discipline preferred.
  • 3-6 years' relevant experience.
  • Relevant skills at exemplary, high-performing level of competency.
  • Analytics, product management, or software development experience.
  • Experience in supply chain operations including procurement, demand management, warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (Jira, Confluence), analytical techniques, and analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Python, Microsoft Azure).
