Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Arvin, CA is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to drive people strategy for our Product Support and Logistics Division.

You will implement HR policies, foster engagement, and align programs with business goals to support customer success and growth. This onsite role requires five days in the office, relocation is available for qualified candidates, and visa sponsorship is not provided.

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Human Resources Manager in our Arvin, CA facility. Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers. As an HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to make impact across the business by implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, and fostering a culture of employee engagement and development.

What you will do:

What you will have:
  • HR experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Knowledge of the rights and obligations in employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.

Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking:

Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Business Acumen:

Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Work Schedule Flexibility:

Ability to flex work schedule both early and late as necessary to support multiple shift operation.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
