Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking an HR Technology Manager to govern and optimize HR technology platforms, including Oracle HCM modules. You will lead strategic roadmaps, manage deployments, and drive continuous improvement across HR systems and data governance.

The role requires executive collaboration with HR, IT, and Finance, strong project management, and a focus on employee experience. Located in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area with in-office requirements.

The HR Technology Manager is responsible for the governance, optimization, and day-to-day management of HR technology solutions that support the Global Human Resources organization. Partnering with the Director of Global HR Technology to execute the overall technology strategy, this role leads the planning, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of HR systems to drive operational excellence, data integrity, compliance, reporting capabilities, and an improved employee experience.

The HR Technology Manager oversees the configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and support of HR technology platforms while ensuring alignment with business objectives and HR strategy. This position manages a team of HR technology professionals, providing the leadership, coaching, and development opportunities that foster high performance, accountability, and continuous growth.

Working closely with HR leaders, Finance, IT partners, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders, the HR Technology Manager serves as a trusted advisor and key contributor—leading system initiatives, process improvement efforts, and change management activities across the HR technology landscape. The role is accountable for managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong commitment to service, quality, governance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in Oracle HCM technology and data management with strong project management, analytical, and leadership skills. This individual is a proactive problem solver who can translate business needs into scalable technology solutions, drive innovation, and deliver measurable business value through effective HR systems and processes.

Essential Functions:
HR Technology Strategy, Governance & Roadmap Management
  • Support the strategic direction, governance, and optimization of HR technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and HR priorities.
  • Contribute to and execute the HR technology roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation, automation, and process improvement; including AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., Oracle AI features).
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to evaluate and implement technology solutions that enhance workforce processes and employee experience.
  • Enforce HR technology governance standards, ensuring changes follow defined intake, review, and approval workflows.
HR Systems Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, testing, deployment, and support of HR technology systems, including Oracle HCM modules: Core HR, Compensation, Recruitment, Talent, Help Desk, Absence Management, Learning and Reporting.
  • Ensure system performance, scalability, data integrity, and adoption through ongoing enhancements and optimization initiatives.
  • Manage quarterly release cycles, system upgrades, patches, integrations, and downstream/middleware and payroll interfaces.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point (tier-2/tier-3) for complex system issues, ensuring timely resolution and root-cause analysis
Project & Change Management
  • Lead complex HR technology projects and cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation and stabilization.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, resources, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive change management, communication, training, and adoption strategies for technology and process transformations.
Data, Reporting & Compliance (15%)
  • Establish and maintain data governance standards to ensure the accuracy, security, and integrity of HR data.
  • Oversee HCM reporting, audits, and compliance requirements, supporting informed decision-making and regulatory adherence.
  • Partner with Internal Audit, IT Security, and HR stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational policies and controls.
Stakeholder Partnership & Service Delivery (10%)
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to HR leadership, IT, Finance, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and other business partners regarding HR technology capabilities and solutions.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality HR technology services, balancing business needs, user experience, and operational efficiency.
People Leadership & Team Development (5%)
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR Technology team through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and career development.
  • Allocate work across the team based on module expertise and workload to ensure efficient resource utilization and continuity of BAU support.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and build bench strength across HCM functional areas.

Essential/Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR Technology, HRIS, or HCM experience supporting enterprise HR systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience, including team management, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
  • Hands-on experience administering and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud, including the following modules: Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning, Help Desk, Absence Management and Reporting and Analytics
  • Strong technical knowledge of HR technology architecture, system configuration, integrations, security, data management, and release management.
  • Experience developing and maintaining HR reporting solutions using: Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), Proficiency in SQL
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and change management initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, data governance, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
  • Proven project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Essential experience required:
  • 5+ years of HR Technology, HRIS, or Oracle HCM Cloud experience supporting enterprise HR systems.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing HR Technology or HRIS professionals.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning, Help Desk, Absence Management, and Reporting & Analytics.
  • Experience leading HR technology implementations, integrations, upgrades, system enhancements, and change management initiatives.
  • Proficiency in OTBI and SQL for HR reporting, analytics, and data management.
  • Experience with HR data governance, compliance, security, internal controls, and audit support.
  • Proven success managing complex projects and collaborating with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, vendors, and business leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and adoption of HR technology solutions.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
