Job summary

Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. is seeking an HSSE Manager to lead the development and continuous improvement of the HSS&E management program across development, construction and operating assets in the United States.

The role requires travel to sites monthly and ensuring compliance with federal, state and Brookfield standards. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of HSS&E experience in a renewable energy environment, strong knowledge of HSSE systems, and formal qualifications such as

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSS&E) experience, ideally in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.
• Experience developing and implementing HSSE Management Systems aligned with standards and best practice.
• Demonstrated experience across full asset lifecycle: development, construction, commissioning, and operation of renewable assets (ideally Solar PV).
• Professional HSSE qualifications preferred e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, ASP, IOSH, or equivalent.
• Ability to lead HSSE audits and investigations, manage CAPAs, and use data for continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a portfolio-wide HSSE management system in compliance with regulations and Brookfield standards.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Brookfield HSSE standards across all asset lifecycles.
• Lead emergency preparedness, response and crisis management including business continuity programs.
• Develop and deliver HSSE training programs for employees and contractors.
• Audit and review contractor HSSE programs and procedures.

AbouttheRole

ReportingtotheChiefOperatingOfficer,theHSSEManagerisresponsibleforleadingthedevelopmentandcontinuousimprovementoftheHSS&Emanagementprogram.

Therolewillprovidesubjectmatterexpertiseandhands-onsupportacrossdevelopment,constructionandoperatingassets,ensuringcompliancewithfederal,state,localregulationsandtheBrookfieldRenewableHSSEprogram.

Therolewillinvolveregulartravellingtodevelopment,construction&operationalsitesacrosstheUnitedStates,monthly.

KnowledgeandExperienceRequired

Salary:$120,000to$150,000,bonuseligible.
