Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Night/Facilities Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping department's nightly operations and ensure quality standards. You will lead night supervisors and staff, allocate resources, and drive workflow efficiencies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least five years of supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license. Work hours are 7:00am-4:00pm with on-site responsibilities at the Floyd Curl Drive location in San Antonio.

Qualifications

• Ability to implement new workflows.

Responsibilities

• Directly manages and leads housekeeping supervisors and staff. Allocates staffing, equipment and resources.
• Ensures time and materials are properly documented in work management system. Converts online requests to work orders. Ensures time cards are entered/approved within work management system.
• Manage hiring, development and performance management activities for supervisors and staff. Provides training to employees as needed.
• Perform area audits and enforces cleaning standards.

Evaluates and establishes new standards to increase department workflow efficiencies and quality. Manages the development and performance of night supervisors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensures time and materials are properly documented in work management system. Converts online requests to work orders. Ensures time cards are entered/approved within work management system. Ensures work orders are completed.
• Manage hiring, development and performance management activities for supervisors and staff. Provides training to employees as needed.
• Perform area audits and enforces cleaning standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrated ability to improve and implement new work flows
• Demonstrated organizational and coordinating skills
• Proven ability to anticipate client needs
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with all levels of staff
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Working hours 7:00am-4:00pm
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Required Skills

• Five (5) years of related supervisory experience is required.
