Job summary

SCAN, a nonprofit health organization serving seniors, seeks a Corporate Development Manager in Los Angeles. You will identify opportunities for partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and external investments to advance SCAN’s mission of keeping older adults healthy and independent.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in healthcare strategy or corporate development, with leadership experience and strong analytics.

Qualifications

As part of our mission to keep seniors healthy and independent, the Corporate Development Manager will understand SCAN’s enterprise & business unit priorities to identify opportunities where external assets can contribute to the goal. This includes opportunities for portfolio company collaboration, outside investments, strategic partnerships, mergers/acquisitions, and opportunistic incubations.

• We're seeking a more junior-level strategic leader with experience managing and mentoring analysts, overseeing complex analytical work, and serving as a trusted thought partner to executives. The successful candidate will have a track record of incorporating AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and elevate strategic output, while leading initiatives related to partnerships, growth opportunities, and CEO-prioritized projects. Prior direct people management experience is required; Los Angeles-based candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with other departments to ensure corporate development activities are aligned to company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field. A comparable combination of education/experience and/or training will be considered equivalent to the education.


• 4+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, and/or corporate development in healthcare.
