Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Hardware Engineering Leader to guide a team of sustaining engineers in delivering high-speed digital hardware solutions. You will drive RCCA processes, oversee failure analyses, and coordinate design changes while engaging customers to resolve escalations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, strong communication, and a focus on proactive quality improvements for new products. This is a senior, hands-on leadership position in a fast-moving hardware environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading and managing a hardware engineering team.
• Experience in high-speed digital hardware design, test and de-bug.
• Expertise in hardware quality, failure analysis, root-cause/corrective action (RCCA).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a team of 4 - 6 hardware sustaining engineers.
• Manage multiple concurrent failure analysis and design change projects.
• Engage with customers to review, investigate and resolve escalations.
• Author RCCA and other quality related reports.
