Line Service Management in Rockford, IL, is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of the GSE Department, including repairs and maintenance of general and special purpose aviation ground support equipment for company-owned and airport customer equipment.

The role requires extensive aviation industry knowledge, strong time management, and the ability to interpret regulations and safety standards, with preference for a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 15+ years of relevant experience in gas/diesel engine diagnosis and repair.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in GSE/Aviation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.

Annual Starting Salary $85,000 + (Based on experience) – Full-time

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Business Administration, or a related field of study is preferred. In Lieu of a degree, 15 years of proven experience in gas and diesel engine diagnosis, tear down, and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Preferred to have 10+ years of proven GSE/Aviation leadership experience.
• Must have exceptional time management skills with a proven record of Analyzing, interpreting, and communicating complex issues with enhanced deadlines.
• Exceptional knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Knowledge of industry specific software and technology.
• Must reside within the company’s geographical footprint, which is in Rockford Illinois or surrounding area.
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint based criminal history background check as required by the FAA, TSA, and Port Authority.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
