Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Manager, GRC to lead governance, risk, and compliance coverage across critical technology and security domains in a remote US-based role.

You will partner with engineering and technology teams to assess risk, strengthen controls, and translate complex technical risks into business decisions for leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology risk, IT controls, IT audit, cybersecurity risk, or compliance with full-stack GRC experience.
• Deep understanding of technical design and governance across infrastructure resiliency, SDLC, or incident response.
• Experience evaluating risks and improving control maturity with key stakeholders.
• Proven mentoring skills with a track record of managing analysts effectively.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and simplify complex risk concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience using generative AI to enhance processes while maintaining oversight.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, GRC to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead governance, risk, and compliance coverage across critical technology and security domains. The manager will partner closely with engineering and technology stakeholders to assess risk, strengthen controls, and improve the organization’s overall risk posture. This position also plays an important role in translating complex technical risks into clear business decisions for leadership.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $193,970 – $228,200 annually
