Citco seeks a seasoned Fund Accounting Manager in Dallas (Hybrid) to lead a team responsible for NAVs, financial statements, and investor reporting for Private Equity funds. You will manage daily operations, ensure accuracy, and liaise with clients and auditors.

You will apply your GAAP knowledge, leverage FIS Investran, and mentor staff while driving efficiency and timely delivery. The role emphasizes leadership, project management, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related professional designation.
• 4+ years’ experience in managing a team of Fund Accountants and Supervisors.
• 3–5 years of fund accounting experience in Private Equity or similar institution.
• Knowledge of US/Canadian GAAP and accounting standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with FIS Investran is highly desirable.

As a core member of our Private Assets team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Lead and manage the team to archive departmental and organizational goals
• Implement strategic plans to archive business objectives
• Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations
• Overseeperiodical Net Asset Value calculations for the Private Equity Funds, including Financial Statement preparation, trial balance review and Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations.
• Review the calculation of fund specific expenses, including admin fees, management fees, carried interest and other applicable fees
• Review accounting work, capital events, other client deliverables, investor statements and reporting prepared by staff
• Ensure documentation is compliant with internal and external/regulatory standards
• Review private equity funds’ partnership agreements, PPMs and other materials
• Ensure compliance with internal policies/procedures/best practices, external standards, and regulatory requirements
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all aspects of operations and ensure all client SLAs are met
• Liaise with Investor Relations, Waterfall, Tax, Financial Reporting and other Citco groups/teams globally
• Act as a liaison with Clients on matters relating to Fund Accounting services
• Ensure timely and accurate responses to client queries
• Act as a liaison with external parties
• Coordinate, manage and monitor external audit processes
• Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients as needed
• Work closely withClient Integration team (including new client onboarding and conversions)
• Manage and coordinate the activities of team members
• Provide direction, support, and mentorship to team members
• Conduct regular meetings to communicate objectives, updates and expectations
• Evaluate team performance, providing timely feedback and conducting performance reviews
• Identify skill gaps and training needs within the team. Organize and facilitate training programs to enhance team capabilities
• Act as a liaison between the team members and senior management
• Encourage a proactive problem-solving culture within the team
• Implementation of efficiency initiatives in a timely manner
• Generate ad hoc reports as required

Qualifications

About You:

• You have aUniversity degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).
• 4+ years’ experience in managing a team of Fund Accountants, Senior Fund Accountants and Supervisors
• 3 - 5 years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity Fund, Private Equity Fund Administrator or other financial institution where the accountant has gained financial products knowledge
• Knowledge of US/Canadian GAAP and other comprehensive basis of accounting
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (EspeciallyExcel and Word), experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform highly desirable
