Job description

Radial Entertainment is a global entertainment company, formed through the merger of Shout! Studios and FilmRise, backed by Oaktree Capital Management. Radial boasts a diverse library of over 70,000 movies and episodes, making it the largest independent catalog in the industry. The company delivers high-quality entertainment to all major consumer platforms including FAST channels, AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, physical product, theatrical film and more. Its programming spans a wide range of genres, including true crime, reality, animation, action, westerns, horror, award-winners, cult classics, creator content, and more. Radial is the pre-eminent, purpose-built independent distributor for the streaming era.

We are seeking a Manager, FP&A and Strategy to join our Finance team. The Manager, FP&A and Strategy will play a key role in supporting executive leadership and our private equity sponsor, combining core FP&A ownership (forecasting and performance reporting) with analytical production for Corporate Strategy and Development initiatives.

This role will partner cross-functionally throughout the organization, working especially close with Accounting to ensure financial accuracy, Sales and Distribution to bolster existing and grow new revenue opportunities, and Corporate Strategy to evaluate special projects and M&A opportunities. When not working on strategic projects, this role will participate in driving improvements to the financial processes and workstreams that provide visibility into performance across our operating model and content portfolio.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling skills with the ability to think critically and holistically about end-to-end business processes. This person is comfortable owning work product from granular inputs to executive outputs, distilling complex analysis into clear and concise recommendations for senior stakeholders. This person can effectively jump between independent and group work, and thrives in a fast-paced, investor-driven environment.

Reports to: SVP, Finance & Strategy

Pay Rate: $120k - $150k if annualized DOE

Compensation: Full benefits package including 401(K) with match, medical, dental, vision and more

  • Serve as the financial liaison to leaders of new monetization opportunities, including direct advertising efforts and a revitalized direct-to-consumer app
  • Own the development and maintenance of detailed revenue, margin, EBITDA, and cash flow forecasts for these and other business lines
  • Partner closely with Accounting to ensure monthly alignment between forecasted and reported results, including revenue recognition, accruals, and cash timing
  • Prepare applicable monthly management reporting and the annual budgeting inputs, including production of supporting schedules, scenario planning and identified financial and operational risks and opportunities
  • Drive process improvements, spanning FP&A and adjacent cross-functional workflows, that strengthen transparency, improve reporting cadence, and provide clearer insights into financial performance and alignment to strategic priorities
  • Conduct external market research and competitive benchmarking to evaluate new business opportunities and technologies, verifying findings against multiple sources

  • Assemble financial aspects of the quarterly and interim board materials, including ad hoc financial analysis and deck page creation.
Corporate Development, Strategy, and Special Projects
  • Support M&A underwriting, confirmatory diligence analyses, and synergy modeling for integration planning
  • Provide analytical coverage to strategy projects including but not limited to KPI optimization, operational change management, organizational restructuring, and new commercial opportunities

  • Experience in media, entertainment, licensing, and digital distribution preferred
  • Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel required)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain integrated three statement financial models for forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial reporting
  • Experience preparing executive and investor-facing materials
  • Comfortable working at a granular, line-item level of detail (e.g., contract terms, deal-level revenue allocations) without losing sight of the broader strategic picture
