Leeward Renewable Energy (LRE) seeks a Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead external financial reporting, support internal reporting, and manage audit deliverables. The role requires CPA-level depth in U.S. GAAP and strong communication across stakeholders in a dynamic energy company.

Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity. The Manager, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting (M3) will lead LRE’s external financial reporting process, supporting internal reporting needs, managing audit deliverables, and serving as a subject matter expert on complex U.S. GAAP matters. This role researches, evaluates, concludes on, and documents technical accounting positions; partners with business stakeholders to apply those conclusions operationally; and helps maintain a scalable, controlled, and audit-ready reporting environment. The role is well suited for a CPA with strong technical accounting depth, excellent written communication skills, and experience operating in a dynamic financial reporting environment with complex legal entity and consolidation considerations.

This is an in-office role, requiring on site presence in our office a minimum of three days per week with hybrid flexibility of working remotely two days per week, subject to manager and policy approval.
