Job summary

Wipfli is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow modeling for healthcare clients. You will mentor staff and coordinate with advisory and external partners to deliver high‑value services.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, CPA/MBA is preferred, and experience with Intaact, NetSuite, and Bill.com. Travel up to 10% may be required and a commitment to process improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business required.
• 4–6 years of experience in public or private accounting.
• 3+ years of managing associates and/or teams.
• Regulatory compliance: familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations affecting financial reporting.
• Professional certification (e.g., MBA, CPA) preferred.
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management: experience with billing, coding, and collections in physician practices.
• Cost Allocation for multi‑specialty practices: experience allocating costs across departments or specialties.
• Understanding Physician Compensation Models: knowledge of productivity, incentives, and contracts impact on financial statements.
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in accounting software: Intaact, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, Microsoft Office Suite; ability to embrace new tech.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

The estimated base pay range for this role is $97,000 to $145,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
