The Manager, Finance Process Improvement will lead finance transformation initiatives in partnership with the Transformation Office team to ensure successful execution of Fortune Brands Innovations’ Finance transformational goals and strategy. The Manager, Finance Process Improvement will partner with finance leaders throughout the organization to review key processes and increase efficiency through simplification, standardization, and automation.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based in one of the following locations - Deerfield, IL, North Olmsted, OH, Maumee, OH, or Oak Creek, WI offices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Manage various projects supporting finance transformation initiatives, leading with cross-functional teams to identify and drive improvements and efficiencies in processes and reporting.
  • Drive the optimization of financial processes to support business growth, including implementing new financial tools and technologies, improving financial reporting, and enhancing forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Manage execution of cost savings opportunities within the various Finance teams, including process and other operational improvements.
  • Partner with Finance teams on charter creation and implementation plans.
  • Ensure commitments are achieved within agreed schedule, cost, and resources.
  • Track initiative milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on the overall transformation delivery plan.
  • Prepare materials, analysis, and communications for transformation meetings and the overarching change plan.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in finance or related field, inclusive of supporting financial transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit and tax compliance and other regulatory matters.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in working in Agile organizations preferred.
