Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of related experience.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to research data, organize data, and present data to executive leadership in quality PowerPoint presentations.
• Knowledge of data mining, deep learning, big data and project management would be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and resolve complex business problems and develop analytic techniques for sales, finance, operations, and outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze trends in revenue, costs, expenses, and capital expenditures; highlight variances.
• Prepare custom or standard reports from relevant datasets.
• Contribute analysis in liquidity, costing, and regulatory reporting.
• Assist cross-functional units on pricing, overhead distribution, inventory, cost determination, and other metrics.
• Analyze financial plans, budgets, tax returns, and P&L statements; assess performance vs expectations.
• Research broader economic conditions and incorporate findings into financial models.
• Fulfill ad-hoc reporting and analysis as assigned.

Manages activities with the organizations financial analysis functions

Essential Job Duties

• Oversees reporting and analytics meant to provide management the information needed to make financial business decisions
• Facilitate internal and external business insights to enable confident, effective business decision making, demonstrate outcomes, support efficiency projects, and enhance financial results
• Identify, research, and resolve complex business problems and develop analytic techniques to provide solutions to drive Sales, Finance, Operations, and overall outcomes
• Monitor and analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
• Identifies relevant datasets and prepares custom or standard reports
• Contributes analysis in the areas of liquidity, costing, and regulatory reporting
• Assists cross-functional units on matters involving product pricing, overhead distribution, inventory rollover, cost determination, and other financial metrics
• Analyzes and interprets financial plans, budgets, tax returns, profit and loss statements, or other financial documents
• Identifies financial position and performance relative to expectations
• Researches broader economic conditions and incorporates findings into financial models
• Fulfill ad-hoc reporting and analysis and other duties as assigned

Skill/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of related experience
