Job summary

Collibra Public Sector is seeking a seasoned Federal Solution Architect to lead architecture design and execution for federal engagements, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, GovCloud and delivery models. You will partner across Collibra teams to align with acquisition cycles, expanding footprints and driving measurable mission outcomes.

The role requires 5–10 years in federal consulting, strong data governance know-how, cloud and big data expertise, and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of consulting experience supporting U.S. federal agencies in Data Governance, Data Management or Data Quality.
• Understanding of leading PaaS providers, Data Lakes, Databases, and Integration platforms used by federal agencies.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with cloud platforms, API integration (REST/JSON), and deployment automation.
• Linux CLI proficiency.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure and platform.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Familiarity with enterprise security solutions such as LDAP or Kerberos.
• Hands-on experience with Data Quality, Data Pipelines, Data Orchestration, and/or Job Control tools.
• Knowledge of data management processes (data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, and business rules management).
• Proficiency in leveraging APIs via Java, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, data integration.
• Developing functional and technical specifications.
• Experience with Collibra or comparable technologies.
• U.S. citizenship, resides on U.S. soil, and holds active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mission-aligned architectural design and execution of Collibra products for federal engagements.
• Provide federal agencies with data governance strategies and measurable outcomes.
• Partner cross-functionally with Collibra Sales, Customer Engineering, Product, Support, and Executives.
• Identify opportunities to expand Collibra’s footprint with agencies by aligning product capabilities to mandates and compliance.
• Meet or exceed utilization goals for federal client success and repeatable delivery excellence.
• Contribute to growth of public sector services and licensing through strategic planning and customer advocacy.
