People Inc. in New York seeks a Manager, Events Sponsorships to oversee sponsor management for flagship Food & Wine events and related partnerships. You will drive activations from proposal through onsite execution, collaborating with event marketing and operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in fast-paced event marketing or sponsorships, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple programs while meeting deadlines. Hybrid work in NYC with some travel and evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in marketing, communications, or related field; relevant work experience and qualifications will be equally considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced event marketing, sponsorship management, experiential marketing, or event production.
  • Experience with sponsorship activations, proposal development, and on-site execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of assigned sponsors and advertising partners, ensuring strong communication, relationships, and client service.
  • Implement and manage sponsor activations, including pre-event planning, logistical coordination, and onsite execution.
  • Support the Events Sponsorships team with presale strategy, sponsorship acquisition, and partner ideation.
  • Manage multiple sponsor programs and projects, maintaining timelines, deliverables, and communication across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Anticipate client needs, proactively identify solutions, and help manage challenges in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to respond to RFPs and develop compelling event marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with event marketing and operations to ensure sponsors are thoughtfully integrated across events and touchpoints.

This role will support sponsor management across the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and Charleston, as well as the Sales & Marketing teams on overall sponsorship execution. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of People Inc's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
