Job summary

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government issued Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain initial SAP access via a PAR, prior to commencement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP PARs following commencement to support the statement of work.

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for Manager Engineering 2 Support Equipment to join our team in Palmdale, C A. The candidate should be a self-starter with familiarity working in an Integrated Product Team construct.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related engineering experience OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience.
• Must have experience in design engineering.
• Must have an active U.S. Government issued Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program (SAP) access via a Program Access Request (PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP PARs following commencement of employment to be able to completely support statement of work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active USG Top Secret SCI clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
• Previous experience in support equipment design, human factors consideration, and maintenance of government vehicles.
• Previous experience driving process changes/improvements and leading multi-functional teams on complex tasks, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated financial management skills including development and control of program budgets, schedules, Estimate at Complete (EAC), and the ability to recognize and capture program changes.
• Relevant experience in adjacent logistics support elements such as Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) & Maintenance Planning, Modeling & Simulation (ModSim), Support Equipment Engineering (SEE), Prognostics & Health Management (PHM), Supportable Low Observables (SLO), Obsolescence Management, Training & Training Systems, Technical Data, Support Hardware, Fleet & Field Support, and Product Support Management.

Primary Level Salary Range: $146,600.00 - $219,800.00
