Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of electrical engineers across a broad array of technologies and production volumes. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

As an EE Manager, you will lead a team of electrical engineers responsible for PCB design, schematic development, and layout execution across multiple robot platforms. Your day involves reviewing designs, unblocking engineers, coordinating cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, and systems teams, and driving technical decisions that keep programs on track. You will balance sustaining work on fielded products with new development for next‑generation platforms.

About the team

The Electrical Engineering team at Amazon Robotics designs the electronics that power our robotic fleet, from power systems and motor drives to sensor interfaces and embedded processors. We own the full lifecycle from concept through high-volume production. Our team values ownership, curiosity, and a bias for action. We work in a fast-paced environment alongside firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to deliver robots that move millions of packages every day.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of new hardware products development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in engineering team management
• Experience in new hardware product development
• Experience in DFx (cost, test, manufacturing)
• Experience with the project management of technical projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or a related field
• Experience developing products for large volume production
• Experience managing teams of 8+ engineers

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
