Manager Electrical Engineer, Wiring Design

We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the needs of Manufacturing
  • Providing alternate parts definition and control as required
  • Creating an MRB Team and all necessary supporting documentation
  • Support technical Design Reviews of Electrical Wiring systems
  • Mentor, train, and develop engineers in the Electrical Wiring team
  • Review and approve documentation such as test reports, BOMs, Drawings, etc
  • Use your knowledge of industry standard components to select optimal parts to suit specific design applications and requirements.
  • Follow industry best practices and guidance for the design and installation of the wire harnesses (AC 43.13-1B, AS50881, ASTM F2639)
Qualifications
  • 10-years proven track record of leading multi-disciplined Electrical Harness Design teams in development and sustaining aircraft efforts, including team performance reviews, supporting teams technical growth, succession planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledgeable of and supporting the needs and requirements of an Electrical Harness Fabrication facility.
  • Strong understanding of the 2D / 3D Design Tool sets and how they communicate with one another.
  • Knowledge of the following tool sets: Mentor Graphics Capital & NX or similar drafting architectures.
  • Knowledgeable of and supporting Electrical Harness Certification Requirements.
  • Proficient in building and supporting corporate schedules, budgets, staffing requirements, and providing detailed updates to senior leadership.
Compensation

Base pay ranging from $172,800 to $216,000, with additional performance-based rewards. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and knowledge.
