Job summary

FM Industries seeks a Manager, EH&S to lead our California site EHS efforts from Fremont, CA. You will join the management team, shaping strategy and guiding safety and environmental programs to align with corporate goals.

Ideal candidate has a strong environmental background, California regulations knowledge, and 5+ years in EHS within manufacturing. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a culture focused on safety, integrity, and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, OHS or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Influence management to drive EHS performance.
• Provide practical and technical expertise, advice, and solutions.

SUMMARY OF POSITION / ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Contribute as a member of the FM Industries management team

• Promote continuous improvement efforts in the EHS function, integrating tactical and strategic EHS planning

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degreein Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety Sciences, or related technical field.
• 5+ years’ progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong environmental background as well as knowledge of California State regulations

PREFERRED TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• EHS-related licenses, certifications and/or membership in EHS professional associations are desired.
• SMARTS - Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System experience
• CERS - California Environmental Reporting System experience
