Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Manager of US Ecommerce Planning to drive channel financial planning and forecasting. You will work with a merchandising team and allocation partners to execute end-to-end strategies and optimize inventory and profitability.

The role requires 7+ years of planning experience, advanced Excel, and knowledge of retail financials and KPIs. This hybrid role requires in-office presence in San Francisco 3 days a week (Tue-Thu).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
  • 7+ years planning experience with a global omni-channel brand.
  • Strong understanding of retail math, merchandising financials, and profitability KPIs.
  • Advanced Excel skills for complex analyses.
  • Experience with SAS merchandise planning is a plus.

The Manager, US Ecommerce Planning

You will be an essential team member; with financial experience of the retail market to inform the retail buy plans and achieve continued growth.

You can identify important business issues, provide analysis on opportunities and risks, promote consistency in processes, and guide best practices across the business and within the Direct-to-Consumer team.

You will work with a merchandising team and allocation partners to ensure end‑to‑end strategy execution and line productivity.

About the Job

Help build and track against channel financial plans; cover all sales KPIs with an understanding of how each are driven.

Work to balance channel, brand, and business needs.

Develop financial forecasts in-season and lead regular financial conversations with a diverse set of business partners.

Help create a narrative and articulate risks and opportunities.

Collaborate with merchants to develop consumer and category segment productivity targets within an assortment architecture.

Build and present bottom‑up sales and inventory plans.

Reconcile against the tops‑down financial plans to inform financial and inventory decisions.

Align with business partners to guide in‑season tactical activities in execution of seasonal strategies: promotional strategies, markdown management, etc.

Work with allocation partners to ensure optimal in‑season allocation, replenishment, consumption, and receipt flow.

Manage in‑season profitability to achieve or exceed goals and submissions.

Identify opportunities in, and improve, processes and tools.

Take ownership of additional projects that support channel and company plans.

Lead projects across all DTC and works across the channel matrix with their “company hat” to ensure inventory profitability for all.

About You

Bachelor’s degree; a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute.

7+ years of planning experience with a global omni-channel brand.

Understanding of retail math, merchandising financials, and profitability KPIs.

Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions).

Experience with SAS merchandise planning an asset.

This is a hybrid work schedule based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters.

You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $112,500 - $165,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
