The SPARC Diagnostics Team is divided into multiple groups to facilitate hardware deployment, staff development, and decision‑making. This manager leads the Diagnostic Support Equipment (DSE) team, responsible for delivering equipment that provides functional support between instrumentation systems and other structural members. The role requires team leadership while also performing individual‑contributor work to enable the delivery of DSE hardware. Responsibilities evolve as the SPARC project moves from design to operation. Candidates may come from non‑tokamak or non‑fusion backgrounds.
Salary range: $150,000–$225,000USD per year. Location: Devens, MA.
