Job summary

RealTruck, Inc. is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead the design and implementation of data-driven sales intelligence tools and S&OP processes.

The role drives customer demand data accuracy and reporting for manufacturing and financial forecasts. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily demand planners, blending traditional forecasting with AI-driven insights, and guiding staff through performance reviews and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of sales forecasting experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong familiarity with AI forecasting applications and demand-sensing platforms.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate numerical data utilizing analysis capabilities.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Domo) required.
  • Experience leading or developing others, either directly or through project leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily activities of the Demand Planners.
  • Manage end-to-end demand signals and optimize inventory levels by blending traditional forecasting with modern AI and machine learning.
  • Provide guidance to staff when unique circumstances arise and act as a decision maker for elevated issues.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Lead change initiatives and process improvements in support of company goals.
  • Provide input on statistical models and analyze prior demand history.
  • Monitor and adjust forecasts monthly based on actual demand and market trends.
  • Coordinate with Product Management to phase in/out products based on changes to the product line.
  • Participate in Global demand planning meetings as NA representative.
  • Coordinate with Channel Marketing to review campaign forecasting and communicate decisions to S&OP Demand Planners.

Core Functions
  • Oversee the daily activities of the Demand Planners.
  • Manage end-to-end demand signals and optimize inventory levels by blending traditional forecasting with modern AI and machine learning.
  • Provide guidance to staff when unique circumstances arise. Act as a decision maker on issues that need to be elevated to a higher level.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide regular performance feedback and development opportunities to the team.
  • Act as a change agent/lead in support of company initiatives and process improvements.
  • Provide input on most applicable statistical model and analyze prior demand history.
  • Monitor and suggest monthly adjustments of forecast based on monitoring of actual demand and market trends.
  • Manage the coordination with Product Management to phase in/out products based on changes to product line.
  • Participate in Global demand planning meetings as NA representative.
  • Coordinate with Channel Marketing to review campaign forecasting and communicate decisions to S&OP Demand Planners.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred, or equivalent work experience required.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (specifically Power BI/Domo) required.
  • Experience leading or developing others, either directly or through project leadership.
  • Capable using data analytics to influence business decisions and drive outcomes.
Skills, Abilities, And Knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with an ability to influence various stakeholders within and outside of the Supply Chain

  • Travel may be required.
